The doors opened for grades 1 through 6
with an enrollment of 262 students. Tuition was $8 per
month, per family.

Construction began on two new classrooms.
Enrollment opened to 7th and 8th grade students.

| 1963 |
Seventy six students registered for 1st
grade.

| 1964 |
St. Dominic experienced phenomenal growth
in enrollment and additional classrooms were added.

| 1972 |
St. Dominic grew to two classes in grades 1
through 8.
|
| 1980 |
Saint Dominic gained full accreditation
with the Alabama Department of Education.
|
| 1988 |
Saint Dominic added two new classrooms and
the new gymnasium was completed.

| 1991 |
Saint Dominic received full accreditation
from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
|
| 1999 |
The new preschool opened. Renovation of the
Adams Center were completed to house a Library/Media Center,
Art Room, Music Room and Computer Lab. |
