     FEBRUARY PRESCHOOL NEWS

 

Hi! Happy Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day and so many other fun things this month! We will be looking at the story behind Groundhog’s Day, the science of Dental Health, the history of Mardi Gras, the traditions of Valentine’s Day and to wrap it up the season of Lent. It is a very busy month. We will introduce the letters B, R, K, and A and learn the sight words to, love, and the. In Math we will review numbers 1-10 and practice patterning, graphing and sequencing.

We will start the month out with the celebration of Catholic Schools Week. We will be looking at theme this year of Faith, Academics, and Service. We will make cards for our area police and fire fighters, collect goods for our service men and women, and send thank our notes to our religious.

• Please send your child to school in tennis shoes each day.
• Please, NO peanut butter.
• Please do not allow your child to bring any toys, etc to school on days unless it is their show-n-tell day.  This is the show-n-tell schedule for each class.
