Mr. Richard Schneider, Saint Dominic Catholic School Graduate, Earns NCEA’s Distinguished Honor
The National Catholic Educational Association has named Mr. Richard Schneider a 2008 NCEA Catholic Elementary School Distinguished Graduate.
This award is presented to a Catholic Elementary school graduate who has made a contribution to the community, reflecting positively on the education received in a Catholic elementary school.
Richard, who is currently employed as Owner/Agent with Schneider Insurance Agency, graduated from Saint Dominic School in 1978. He then attended McGill Toolen Catholic High School and the University of South Alabama where he earned a degree in Business.
Richard and his wife Odile have 4 children, Kelly and Zack who also attended Saint Dominic School. Melanie and Robbie currently attend St. Dominic School in the 6th and 4th grades respectively.
Richard says that his Catholic School education has enabled him to serve God, serve family and serve others. “What I learned here as a child about my faith, about community, about hard work and responsibility are gifts that I have with me and relied upon my entire life.”
